Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including: Minimum of one year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required. Experience in Specialty Care Orthopedics is a plus! Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is preferred. Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred. Epic experience is a plus! Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and prioritize tasks.
