A school-based Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a part-time role in Oakhurst, California, near Fresno. This contract position offers 16 hours per week, typically spread over 2 days. Responsibilities: Provide nursing care and health assessments for students within the school setting Manage student health records and communicate with parents, staff, and healthcare providers Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Respond to acute medical situations and emergencies as they arise Participate in health education and promote wellness initiatives among students Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with school nursing experience preferred Ability to work effectively with children, families, school staff, and healthcare professionals Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in record keeping Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards regarding student health information Location: Oakhurst, California 93644, near Fresno This part-time position offers 16 hours per week, allowing for a balanced schedule while making a meaningful impact on student health and well-being.
