Position Overview The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience caring for higher-acuity inpatient patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, with the ability to assess, prioritize, and respond to changing patient conditions. Demonstrated competency managing cardiac, hypertensive, and insulin infusions, along with strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills. Experience supporting patients requiring advanced respiratory therapies, including BiPAP and high-flow oxygen. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, telemedicine providers, and virtual communication platforms. Confidence caring for critically ill patients and willingness to support short-term stabilization efforts, including ventilated patients awaiting transfer to a higher level of care. Essential Job Functions Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally/specialty appropriate nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients/families Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times Adhere to required infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques in the delivery of patient care Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures Assemble equipment and supplies for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; perform or assist others with procedures or treatments Handle care in accordance with legal, hospital/facility, departmental policies and procedures, and established standards of nursing care and practice, as defined by the Board of Nursing for that State. Other Job Functions Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned and document Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required Perform additional duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN, preferred Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years combination experience in related healthcare positions, required Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred (ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted for PALS certification) Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication Pennsylvania RN's: Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance), Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.

Job Summary: The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services establishes goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services considers factors related to safety, effectiveness and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services delegates and supervises care in accordance with the WI Nurse Practice. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives and assumes responsibility for their professional development. Major responsibilities of this role will include one or more of the following: o Perform/direct ACLS o Independent rhythm interpretation and defibrillation o Administration of advanced lifesaving medications o Independent, templated (“RN-only”) visits for patient assessment, with action taken based on established protocols and/or clinical practice standards using clinical judgement to determine intervention timing/specifics. o Specialty patient education where certification/additional certificate is required for role (listed in job requirements) o Sedation o Telemetry monitoring & interpretation/management of rhythm changes o Assisting with complex procedures - (RN doing care / work on patient, or RN has role in treatment / procedure, etc.) o Advanced wound therapy (VACs, debridement, etc.) o Central line management (TPA administration) and maintenance (dressing / cap changes, access / flushing) o Device interrogation and interpretation with resultant action o Complex infusions (concurrent infusions, hazardous medication administration, blood and blood products, etc.) Work may also include patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and performing/assisting with minor procedures. May float to other areas on as needed for operations need. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment is required. At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Nursing licensure is required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. About the Opportunity The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions. Critical Success Factors Exhibits a positive customer service attitude as demonstrated by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others. Displays personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision. Demonstrates consistent work attendance as scheduled and addresses work related problems with the proper individuals. Communication skills that include careful listening, being sensitive to other people’s thoughts and feelings, giving thoughtful responses, and the timely and accurate reporting to appropriate people. Maintains confidentiality of both residents and staff information. Must present with a neat, clean appearance. Participates in designated facility in-services. Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications Prior direct care experience preferred. High school diploma or GED. Current CPR certification preferred.
