Department: 10 S Telemetry Unit Shift: Days Daily Work Times: 7:00am - 7:30pm Scheduled Hours per Pay: 72 Position Summary: Responsible for assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs.Responsible to see that nursing care plans are carried out through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Adheres to standards of nursing practice of McLaren Flint, which consists of systematic approach to nursing practice by using nursing process. Assesses and documents patient’s status on admission and continuously thereafter including procedural areas Develops written plan of care, including long and short range goals and nursing actions. Inpatient Units: Required: Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan.
