LPN Job Descriptions * Oversees CNAs and training. * Assist in medical procedures. * Maintains accurate patient records. * Consult with RNs on care plan. * Explains procedures and treatment protocols to residents. * Monitoring resident care abd supervising other nursing staff. * Prepare patients for transfers or discharge. * Assist physicians during rounds of residents' rooms. * Assigns and delegate duties to CNAs. * Giving medication as prescribed by the physician. * Interview patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
