Many of our patients have suffered serious injuries or illnesses. As a result, they require day-to-day help while they work toward recovery and regain their independence. Our comprehensive, personalized approach to patient care incorporates therapeutic intervention and medical management. We specialize in providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care services. Responsibilities Responsible for clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of resident care incorporating the nursing process in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. The staff LPN/LVN shall ensure that the unit to which assigned shall function in a smooth, organized, and efficient manner as directed by the Registered Nurse. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care. Specific components of the licensed practical/vocational nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence, managing resident care, improving quality of care, establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills, fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the facility, and developing clinical expertise per specialty. Required Skills: Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment required. Job Requirements Our Registered Nurses provide high quality patient care to patients suffering from the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease, known as End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Work Experience Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); three year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
