Provides assistance to the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day operations of the Health Center in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. At the discretion of Administration, the Assistant Director of Nursing may be required to act as interim Director of Nursing in the event of their absence or vacation position. Develop and maintain nursing care objectives and standards of nursing care practices for this facility in cooperation with the Director of Nursing.
