A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with every other weekend and 3 holidays per year requirements. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Collect, document and report patient data and observations. Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions. Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions. Perform routine laboratory tests. Educate patients and family members.
