Our patient population is Stroke and General Rehabilitation.( This includes things like burns, transplants, cardiac issues including LVAD’s, amputations and orthopedics.) We admit patients 16 and older. 1:5 nurse to patient ratios with flex to 1:4 for High Acuity Rehab Patients that may include telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, infectious workup, care for complex patients Utilize med surg skills including: trach management, wound care, wound vacs, burn dressings, intermittent cathing, bowel programs, line and port management Patient and caregiver education Interdisciplinary Team We are focused on both staff and patient safety and utilize lots of ergonomic equipment including ceiling lifts in all patient rooms, floor lifts, transfer devices, shower chairs, stand assist devices, slide boards, and more.
