Overview Helio Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center (ICSC) in Syracuse, NY. The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide urgent response and/or treatment services to patients experiencing an acute mental health and/or substance use crisis. Schedule : 11:00am - 11:30pm with every other weekend rotation. In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible an $8,000 Sign-On Incentive ! Pay : $40.00 - $45.00 Responsibilities Work under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, Service Director and/or Program Director and follows medical orders for patient care. Communicate with supervisor, medical provider and/or Medical Director regarding patients' medical concerns. Monitor patients' medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal and reports to supervisor and/or medical director. Overview To support the Mission of Helio Health, Inc., the CTI Licensed Practical Nurse will provide comprehensive care management and coordination of services to Critical Time Intervention (CTI) program enrollees. The CTI model is a time-limited form of case management that focuses on helping people with severe mental illness (SMI) and a history of homelessness during a “critical time” transitional period in their lives. CTI Licensed Practical Nurse: CTI is designed specifically to enhance the continuity of care during transition from hospital to community care. Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Critical Time Intervention Licensed Practical Nurse is a care manager, but in addition to Care Management tasks, they resolve medical and rehabilitative needs, when within scope of practice, that impact the individual’s ability to meet recovery goals. The LPN will work on a Full-Time basis and using a hybrid work model, working in the community throughout Oneida County . Direct experience on a Med Surg unit is not required to join our team. We are currently hiring nurses who have recent bedside experience. Our Med Surg team treats very sick patients who require their nurses to have strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and excellent communication. Your patients may include those in need of negative pressure rooms, respiratory, post-ops, and more. Our nurses work 8-hour shifts.
