Qualifications for Director of Nursing: Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, nursing care center, or other related healthcare setting required. Experience in supervision, leadership, and staff development required. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.
