Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries with patient instructions and thoroughly reports patient care needs, progress and goals when transferring care. The staff nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care according to unit policies and procedures. Qualifications EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
