Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities Required Qualifications Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices. Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education. Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws and perform Point of Care Testing Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training. Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Room Licensure/Certifications The LPN/LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia. Education Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $22.40 - $48.67 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e. monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc. Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident personnel information. Provides patient/resident/family/caregiver education as directed. Conducts self in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility polices. Works rotating shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled. Initiates emergency support measure (i.e., CPR, protects patient/residents from injury). LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Qualifications/Requirements: Current/valid Florida LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) License Previous experience in long term care preferred. Current CPR card Ability to work independently or part of a group. Effectively communicate with others. A minimum of one (1) year nursing experience in a long-term or acute care setting preferred.
