RESPONSIBILITIES Assist physician and RNs in the care of patients by performing one or more of the following duties: - Administering chemotherapy agents - Preparing chemotherapy agents - Patient assessments/triage - Medical record documentation - Patient/family education QUALIFICATIONS Active Florida LPN license required. - Experience in IV therapy in clinic or hospital is preferred. - Prior Oncology experience preferred. - 30 hour IV certification course OR completion of 30 hour IV certification course within 90 days of employment. - Current CPR certification is required. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). Fluency in the English language as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. The Lakes Home Care is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
