Hours: Full-time – 40 hours. Shift: Day shift – no weekend, holiday or on call. Perform duties in being responsible for evaluation, care, and management of patients in an outpatient clinic setting or inpatient setting under the rules and regulations of the Massachusetts governing Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant practice. Conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned physicians Assist in the coordination of care and discharge planning Perform exams, episodic illness visits and follow up care visits Ordering laboratory and diagnostic testing and prescribing medications as needed Qualifications Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required. Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
