Provide supervision to Nursing Assistant providing direct resident care. 8. Counsel Nursing Assistants and recommend disciplinary action to the Director of Nursing Service, when necessary. 9. Participate in the employee evaluation process by providing information on the performance of Nursing Assistants when requested. 10. Promptly report changes in residents conditions to the physician, Director of Nursing Service and responsible party, and take follow-up action as necessary. 11. Order, receive and store medications appropriately. 12. Document resident progress notes as required. 13. Consistently work cooperatively with residents, nursing staff, physicians, families, consultant personnel, community agencies and ancillary service providers. 14. Obtain continuing education required to maintain licensure. 15. Observe infection control and safety procedures. 16. Attend and participate in all scheduled staff meetings, educational meetings/in-services and all other meetings related to employment. 17. Assist with and participate in all resident activities to facilitate a home like environment for the residents within assigned facility. 18. Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations. 19. Respectfully engage and welcome all visitors, guests and family members within the facility. 20. Ensure a safe and sanitary living environment for residents. 21.
