Description: Vista Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. Qualifications, Desired Skills, and Experiences: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiology catheterization lab is preferred; ICU experience is also preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and conducting physical examinations. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries. Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and imaging studies. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Illinois law and organizational policies. Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, accreditation, and organizational standards. Qualifications Required Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Illinois licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Current Nurse Practitioner certification through a nationally recognized certifying body. Current DEA registration and Illinois Controlled Substance License (or ability to obtain). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Preferred Minimum of two (2) years of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care, urgent care, hospital medicine, or specialty practice. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, if applicable. Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR). The Telemetry Patient Care Manager is responsible for providing the overall leadership and management of the Telemetry Care Unit, and for producing successful outcomes and results. This role has management of the overall unit day-to-day nursing staff and telemetry techs that monitor patients on the unit. Responsibilities : Identifies ideas and actions to grow patient volumes. Participates in marketing and business development activities to promote services and educate the community. Manages Telemetry to ensure the financial budget is achieved. Assesses opportunities for cost savings. Effectively manages all resources, supplies, and assets. Ensures that all charges are being captured and that all billing opportunities are obtained. Educate patient care team members on financial implications of patient care decisions. Collaborates closely with Case Management to ensure goals are achieved.
