Essential Duties and Responsibilities In this role you will be: An active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and work collaboratively in the development, implementation, and revision of each patient’s interdisciplinary treatment plan. Observing and evaluating each patient as well as documenting their observations and evaluations. Providing the RN with relevant clinical information. Using nursing knowledge of medical, surgical, and behavioral health nursing to effectively provide direct patient care, observing, and documenting outcomes Providing patient and family education. Working collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Skills Desired: Must possess the necessary multitasking and organizational skills to perform the essential functions of this position. The applicant should also have experience with the registration and scheduling of patients in an outpatient or ambulatory setting. Experience with insurance verifications and obtaining authorizations for procedures and patient testing is preferred. Knowledge of assisting providers with procedures and office visits. Minimum Education Required: Must be high school graduate or equivalent. Medical assistant certification. Minimum Experience Required: Medical Assistant with at least two years' experience in office setting or ambulatory setting preferred. Requires knowledge, technique, and skills to therapeutically meet the needs of assigned medical-surgical patients. Responsible for performing a variety of assigned tasks.
