Job Description: Registered Nurse opportunities in Stepdown and Telemetry Weekly Hours: 36 Shift: 3rd Status: Full Time *** SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE *** Baptist Health Louisville has eight telemetry units in the main hospital with each unit hosting 21 all private rooms. Nurses provide intermediate-level care for adult through geriatric patients with a variety of different medical diagnoses. The units provide high-level, fast-paced, patient and family centered care. Our nurses acts as a family and patient resource to guide them through all stages of the patient’s healthcare journey. Each unit has a specific focus such as bariatrics, neuro spine, dialysis or cardiac services which create a unique culture and fit for virtually every nurse, while still offering the opportunities to care for a wide-variety of monitored patients. A variety of shifts and status are offered including Weekend Only and PRN in addition to full and part time positions. Medical benefits are offered for positions working a minimum of 24 hours per week with an accelerated effective date. Baptist also offers our telemetry nurses clinical ladder and preceptor programs and opportunities which allow nurses to grow in both skill set and compensation.
