Nurses will be required to manage the message center and enter data into EHR, evaluates OARRS reports and calculate medication due dates based on this report in addition to information obtained from physician plan of care. Nurses will be required to propose prescriptions to providers based on this information. Nursing Staff in Pain Management will work in the Pain Management procedure area including, prep, recovery and the sterile surgical suite, managing individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Education, Licensure, Registration and Experience: Graduate of an approved school of nursing and current Ohio Licensure 1-2 years recent clinical experience, surgical experience preferred Current Ohio Licensure CPR certified ACLS certified Essential Functions: Completes accurate documentation in patient records and charges. Demonstrates knowledge and correct use of all forms in regard to the day-to-day operation of the department. Assists physician with patient treatments. Offers support to patient and monitors patient throughout procedure and afterward. Completes dressing changes, suture and staple removal. Completes charge information accurately. Correctly identifies patient by name for any direct care procedures and/or treatment; checks identification of patient by use of their name band and registration sheet and assures that a patient is always banded with proper name. Always verifies with the patient the procedural laterality when appropriate Demonstrates an awareness of and understanding of the surgical patient's needs for comfort, positioning an safety, and follows through to provide these needs. Actively participates in interdepartmental meetings and in services. Reviews departmental minutes and seeks information through personal inquiry. Keeps self-informed of changes within department. Makes effective decisions and takes immediate action in serious/emergency situations. Documents situation and rationale for decision on appropriate forms. Reports situation immediately to proper persons. Evaluates results of action taken. Demonstrates knowledge of department and management line of authority and follows proper line of communications and legislation affecting the profession, health care and current developments in the nursing field. Individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served on his/her assigned unit/department. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age-specific needs and to provide the car needed as described in the area’s policies and procedures. Staff Nurse - Home Health Weekender

General Summary: Weekend position - 12 hr shifts Saturday and Sunday with additional 8hrs paid weekly to equal 32hrs/week. The Staff Nurse administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Manager/Administrator, and in accordance with departmental and agency guidelines and policies. Education, Licensure, Registration and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree Two years of professional nursing experience in hospital or community health nursing prefered. Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the State of Ohio. CPR certification/BLS. Current State of Ohio drivers license Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance. OASIS knowledge helpful Point-of-care device experience Ability to care for patients of all ages to include neonates, children, adults, adolescent and geriatric population. General Summary: The Personal Care Assistant assists older people who are functionally, physically, and or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight.
