Job Description The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) II is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health in accordance with medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. Assumes responsibility and accountability for effectively managing the care of a specialty patient population. Provides care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is culturally sensitive to the patient and family, preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient care interventions are appropriate. Job Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practices under the direction or supervision of a licensed medical practitioner, a professional registered nurse, or other licensed health professional authorized by regulations of the Department of Health Regulatory Boards. The LPN coordinates and manages the care provided to assigned patients. Under the supervision of the professional registered nurse (RN), LPNs perform care appropriate to the patient population served and meet daily routine patient care needs. The LPN performs their duties based on the unit care delivery model. This role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver care as outlined by the RN. The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) II is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health in accordance with medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures.
