Reports observations, changes, unusual conditions or reactions to supervisor or appropriate discipline in a timely manner. Takes appropriate action as requested or required by the situation. Notifies family of change in residents condition or hospitalization according to Masonic Village policy. Functions as an advocate for the resident and resident's family by supplying and interpreting information supporting decisions and facilitating communications. Participates in resident and family education as planned through the ID team. Provides high quality nursing care while utilizing universal precautions during all assignments. Carries out assigned tasks in accordance with regulations established by federal, state, local and private accreditation organizations. What You Need as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
