POSITION DESCRIPTION : We are looking for an outstanding Registered Nurse to supervise Double Weekend shift. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for resident care and directing nursing staff. The RN is expected to develop the plan of care and collaborate with physicians, therapists and nursing assistants. The RN will also monitor assigned staff to ensure that all safety regulations are upheld. [BW4] QUALIFICATIONS Makes Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of in a Skilled Nursing Facility are preferred but not required. Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment. Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care. Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident. Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
