The General Manager of Assisted Living is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and ensuring the highest quality of care for residents. This role involves managing the staff, coordinating with healthcare providers, and implementing care plans that meet the individual needs of residents. The General Manager will also ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff. Oversee the staff and be responsible for their training, coaching, development, and corrective action as needed. Assume responsibility of the community and send daily census. Assist in preparing budget for the department as part of the administer approved budget. Direct and delegate management of professional and ancillary staff members Coordinate activities of various units/wings promoting and maintaining harmonious relationships among personnel and with staff, residents, and the public; screen client's prior admission to ensure the center can provide services. Analyze and evaluate services rendered to improve quality of resident care and plan better utilization of team member time and activities. Ensure positive outcomes are accomplished for residents; responsible to develop systems and work schedules that respect resident’s lifestyle and ensure the resident reaches the highest attainable level of functioning; make rounds at least daily; follow up daily on each shift to ensure changes in status are reported and recorded. Ensure new team members are effectively oriented; ensure an ongoing educational program is in place. Develop goals and objectives for the department; motivate and manage team members to accomplish the same. Monitor daily labor hours with awareness of budgeted labor hours to maintain profitability. Monitor and fill openings to ensure adequate staffing is maintained once the monthly Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. At least three years of experience in a management role within an assisted living or long-term care environment. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care. Position Overview: The CNA is a member of the community nursing team whose responsibility is to assist professional nursing personnel by delivering direct hands-on nursing care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents on a daily basis. The CNA is also responsible for assisting the residents to achieve the highest level of functioning while living as normal a lifestyle as possible. Key Responsibilities: • To perform or assist the resident with completing Activities of Daily Living (ADL). • Respond to residents call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety and privacy. • Transport residents by ambulation or by wheelchair to areas of community (dining room, lobby and activities). • Report any significant findings/observations to nurse immediately. • Assist residents on admission, transfer and discharge to make a smooth transition. • Responsible for the safekeeping of residents’ personal possessions. • Keep resident rooms neat and safe. • Follow proper infection control techniques • Respect the rights of each resident, particularly privacy and confidentiality. • Re-teach resident to perform ADL skills. • Provide restorative care to prevent pressure sores, contractures, and complications. • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement and ensures follow-up occurs. • Converse with resident and family; assist them on adjustment to the community. • Ensure adequate hydration and nutrition of resident; report deviations from norm to the Charge Nurse promptly. • Perform blood pressure, pulse, respirations, intake/output and weights accurately. Qualifications: • Certified and state tested as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing. Nurse, RN / LPN Majestic Care of Toledo is looking for Registered Nurses / Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team's mission and believe in our core values! Position Overview: Majestic Care Nurses render skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing in support of medical care as directed by the nursing management team; supervises CNAs to ensure a high quality of care is provided to all residents in that unit. Key Responsibilities: Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans. Assess and document the residents’ condition and nursing needs. Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders. Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel. Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act. Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents. Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments. Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents. Qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Licensed as an RN or LPN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing. Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.
