Students will also complete required skills training and clinical experience as part of the Nurse Aide Training Program. For River Valley participants: October 7: Skills Training at River Valley RHC from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM October 8: Skills Training from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM November 11: Skills Check-Offs at River Valley RHC from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM Completion of the Nurse Aide Training Program will prepare students to take the State Certification Test . Nursing Assistant Trainee Qualifications: Interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA certification in Colorado or a compact state or willingness to complete the CNA training program CPR certification preferred Long-term care experience preferred but not required Must be dependable, compassionate, and ready to learn!
