ProHealth is looking for a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) that is energetic, passionate and outgoing and that is interested in providing a variety of care to our dynamic customer base. The Nurse Practitioner position is responsible for interviewing clients, obtaining and recording health histories, performing physical and developmental assessments, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, diagnosing health problems and managing the health care of clients. Maintains health records and suggest referrals when necessary. Responsible for standard operating procedures, including but not limited to, ensuing policies and procedures within each office are carried out in a fair and consistent manner while providing excellence in patient care. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for treating patients, obtaining the medical history and reviewing the of symptoms of the patient as follows: Performs physical examinations. Assures that preventive screening procedures are carried out and communicated to the patient and recorded appropriately. Responsible for identifying medical and health risk factors and communicating the same. Responsible for updating and recording changes on the health status and diagnosis. Orders appropriate diagnostic tests. Identifies appropriate pharmacological agents. Identifies non-pharmacologic interventions. Develops education plans. Accurately conducts and interprets diagnostic tests. Prescribes pharmacologic agents. Prescribes non-pharmacologic therapies. Provides patient education. Makes appropriate referrals. Determines effectiveness of the plan of care. Reassesses and modifies the plan as necessary. Promotes a safe environment for the patient. Participates as a team member in the provision of medical and health care. Interact with professional colleagues through chart review, consultation and referrals. Systematically reviews records and treatment plans with collaborating physician on a periodic basis. Maintains current knowledge by attending educational programs. Maintains certification in compliance with current state laws. Other measures may be initiated depending on the client’s condition and judgment of ARNP. Twelve lead electrocardiogram. Suturing simple and complex lacerations not requiring tendon or ligament repair. Incision and drainage of abscess. Care of wounds and burns. Application of splints. Removal of foreign bodies when necessary. May prescribe, initiate, monitor, modify discontinue or order drug therapies within the APRN’s scope of practice and accordance with applicable state and federal laws. Any prescription medication which is within the scope of training and knowledge base of the nurse practitioner. May prescribe scheduled II through VI controlled substances in accordance with state laws and scope of practice as set forth and in accordance with protocols established between the practitioner and collaborative physician. All other procedures which ARNP has been educated to perform. Attending monthly meetings with branch and corporate staff and conduct the same when necessary. Ensures all OSHA, Safety and Healthcare Practices and Protocols are implemented and maintained within each branch. Responsible for ensuring all State Medical regulations are maintained as required. Ensures that all staff licenses are verified and maintained as required. Identifies and submit ideas for improvement. All other duties as assigned. Supervisory/Work Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting with overseeing the clinical staff. Approachable nature with Administrative and Clinical Staff Position Type and Expected Work Hours: This is a part time position with variable hours. Days of operation are typically Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm, but frequently require hours outside of these times as business and patient needs dictate. Work Location: Primary location is in Panama City Beach, Florida, however, the incumbent will need to occasionally travel to other locations in the Florida Panhandle. Travel: Travel is localized to the Florida Panhandle QUALIFICATIONS: Education: APRN License in the state of Florida. Must be in good standing. Experience: Two plus years’ experience in multi-site medical setting strongly preferred. License to perform DOT physicals preferred or must be able to obtain prior to start date Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the US. ProHealth is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing medical assistant functions, blood draws and occupational testing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for conducting various occupational tests such as breathe alcohol, respirator fit tests, DOT physcials and other testing as necessary. Collects specimens for drug screens through random testing. Conducts various occupational tests such breathe alcohol, respirator fit tests and other testing as necessary. Collects specimens for drug screens which include hair, blood, and urine samples while ensuring that information is correct in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Performs all necessary paperwork with accuracy and within 24 hours of patient visit. This includes scanning and maintaining patient information pursuant to company policy and procedures in EHR, completing data entry and closing out the sale in the point-of-sale system. Cross train on maintaining the front desk, checking in patients, checking out patients, and booking the follow up appointment. Ensures he/she has all necessary supplies for office and all procedures. Responsible for using office equipment and computer programs proficiently, ensuring all information is current and correct and informing managers of any issues. Ensuring collections are done according to Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. Responsible for in-house procedures such as EKG, audio, PFT, A1c, UA, etc. Collect vitals, i.e. height, weight, BP, pulse and 02 Sats. Administers vaccines as directed and through manufacturing guidelines and documenting appropriately. Responsible for general office duties that accompany the job duties and assisting when needed throughout the clinic. Complete opening and closing procedures. Administrative duties including filing, answering phones, greeting patients, office cleanliness, FL Shot, scanning, billing, patient notes into EHR and other daily tasks that are assigned daily. Travel: Travel is required within the FL panhandle. Supervisory/Work Responsibilities: None QUALIFICATIONS: Education: CCMA and/or Phlebotomy Certification required along with a high school diploma or its equivalent Experience: Minimum of one year experience in a medical office performing Medical Assistant duties. Must be able to work outside of normal business hours (8am to 4pm) and have the flexibility to work occasional hours outside of this schedule based on business and client needs. Must be US Citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the US. Must possess the ability to multi-task. Must possess basic computer skills.
