We are Looking for: We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team and support our mission of enhancing patient health outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience working alongside physicians in the treatment and care of patients with cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. Responsibilities: Oversee the coordination of patient care, including appointment scheduling, triage, and room assignments. Ensure timely and efficient patient flow, minimizing wait times and optimizing patient experience. Resolve patient complaints and professionally. Provides high level of customer service in all interactions. Maintain an open and accepting environment by remaining culturally sensitive to all patients. Manages a team and ensures they comply with company guidelines particularly related to quality of service. Maintain positive working relationships and coordinate activities with all customers in alignment with practice core values Ensure the clinic complies with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards. Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of patient care. Perform periodic audits to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions. Ensure optimal phone answer rate (> 85%). Ensure voicemails are checked and calls are returned and documented. By the end of the day, the voicemail box should be cleared. Ensure medications are being refilled promptly (Same day). Creating protocols with the physicians regarding medication refills. Prior Authorizations Medication and Surgeries: Handle through various portals, fax, or phone authorizations. Oversee administrative functions such as billing, coding, medical records management, and inventory control. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards related to healthcare administration. Supervise the ordering, storage, and utilization of medical supplies and equipment. Maintain an inventory control system to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing wastage. Oversees providers and provides direction to midlevel healthcare providers (such as physician assistants or nurse practitioners) who work under the supervision of a physician. Ensure that these providers are performing their duties effectively and in accordance with established guidelines. Performs other related duties as assigned. We are Looking for: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Nurse to join our CLS Health clinic in our North Houston area offices. The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for administering intravenous (IV) therapies, medications, blood products, and other infusions to patients in a safe, efficient, and caring manner. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities: Assess patients prior to, during, and following infusion therapy. Administer biologic, immunomodulatory, and other specialty infusion medications in accordance with established protocols. Verify medication orders, dosing, laboratory requirements, allergies, and patient-specific treatment parameters. Initiate and maintain IV access and administer medications safely through appropriate infusion techniques. Monitor patients closely for infusion reactions, adverse events, and changes in clinical status. Recognize and appropriately manage infusion-related reactions according to established protocols. Provide patient education regarding medications, potential side effects, treatment expectations, and when to seek medical attention. Coordinate care with rheumatologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team. Review relevant laboratory results and communicate abnormal findings or treatment concerns to the prescribing provider. Document assessments, medication administration, patient response, and education accurately in the electronic medical record. Maintain compliance with medication safety, infection prevention, regulatory, and organizational standards. Support a positive patient experience by providing compassionate, individualized care. Assist with maintaining an efficient and organized infusion center workflow. May travel to other CLS clinics as needed. Performs related duties as required. Requirements Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Vocations Nurse (LVN) license in the applicable state. Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient infusion, rheumatology, oncology, or specialty-care setting. Rheumatology infusion experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in IV insertion, administering IV medications, managing infusion therapy, managing 12-14 patients per day Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills. Current BLS certification. Proficiency with electronic medical records. Will be required to travel between offices in Woodlands and Huntsville, two days a week at each site.
