POSITION SUMMARY Our Medication Technicians (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) provide compassionate, direct care to our residents, assisting them with medication administration and activities of daily living, in accordance with their personalized medication and treatment plans. You will be part of a team that fosters a supportive and nurturing environment for our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist residents with the daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration, as outlined in their individual care plan. Follow documentation protocols and report any changes in resident status. Assist in managing medication inventory and proper storage conditions, and coordinate medication re-orders and deliveries with pharmacies as necessary. Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living to the residents in a team setting as needed. Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to the residents by providing continuous engagement and companionship. Encourage and assist with participation in life enrichment activity programs. Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff. Requirements Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations. Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain. Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period. Experience, Competencies, and Skills: At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting. Experience with memory care is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and high integrity. Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset. Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating our residents with dignity and respect. Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Nursing oversees all aspects of resident care and clinical services within the community, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance with state regulations. This role provides leadership and guidance to the care team while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for residents, families, and staff. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Foster a resident-centered approach to planning and delivering services, supporting residents' rights to participate in decision-making and treating residents with dignity and respect. Assess residents' health, functional, and psychosocial status; initiate individualized service plans; proactively manage care and services for each resident; and maximize their opportunities to remain in the assisted living or memory care environment. Establish and maintain the medication program. Oversee all hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and termination of employment of licensed nursing staff (including Health and Wellness Director, Wellness Nurses), Resident Care Coordinator, and Medication Techs. Hands-on training, supervision, and staff development. Communicate regularly with residents' families regarding healthcare needs, changes in condition, and address family concerns. Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses, in accordance with company, Federal, State, and local requirements. Ensure resident records and charting are current and up to date. Participate in the on-call rotation for nursing and clinical questions and emergencies. On-call responsibilities are shared with the Health and Wellness Director, who manages staffing-related issues Requirements CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Education and certifications: A degree in nursing and an RN nursing license in good standing. Additional coursework in management is an asset. Current state-required certifications, such as First Aid, CPR, and any other applicable credentials. Experience, Competencies, and Skills: At least three (3) years of experience in an Assisted Living/Memory Care setting is required. At least two (2) years in a supervisory/management role; experience with budgets, staff development, training, and scheduling. Experience in Memory Care is preferred. Outstanding organizational skills. Proficient in computer literacy and good knowledge of the Microsoft suite. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet the position's requirements, with the capacity to be on-call 24/7. Meet all mandatory health requirements according to state regulations. Has compassion and a special interest in working with the senior population.
