A well-established long-term care facility in the Chicagoland area is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead its clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong nursing leader to drive clinical excellence, support staff development, and make a meaningful impact on resident care. What You’ll Do: Oversee all nursing operations within the facility Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Lead survey readiness efforts and maintain quality outcomes Mentor and develop nursing leadership and frontline staff Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to drive performance Monitor clinical systems, staffing, and patient care delivery What We’re Looking For: Active RN license in Illinois Prior experience as a DON or strong ADON in a long-term care setting Proven track record with surveys and regulatory compliance Strong leadership presence with the ability to build and retain teams Hands-on, solutions-oriented approach Why This Role: Stable facility with supportive leadership Opportunity to step into a key leadership role with real impact Competitive compensation based on experience
