What You’ll Do Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom Preparing simple nutritious meals and snacks according to instructions Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving Medication reminders Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises Support clients with specialized needs such as Dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and memory care through tailored activities and compassionate engagement Companionship activities such as reading, music, games, puzzles, movies, arts and crafts etc Offer friendly companionship and conversation ? What We’re Looking For 1 8 years or older High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred. A caring, reliable, and patient personality Experience in caregiving is a plus (caring for your family member counts) Good communication skills Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Someone who treats others with kindness and respect Ability to maintain a calm, positive environment Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance Reliable transportation Pass a background check ?
