Responsibilities: Observing patients to assess overall wellness, address basic needs and report concerns to Doctors Communicating with patients and care team providers Administering medication via various methods such as injections Educating patients and caregivers on medication requirements, wound care and nutritional needs Collecting blood draws and other specimens necessary for monitoring or diagnosing patients Requirements: Must be Licensed in the State of CT as Licensed Practical Nurse Must have 1 years of nursing home experience
Nursing Unit Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and patient flow. • Staff Development: Mentor and coach our nursing staff to improve their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning. • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, monitoring patient outcomes and implementing changes to improve our care. • Accountability: Ensure that our unit is in compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare and Joint Commission standards. Must be licensed in the State of CT as Registered Nurse Must have 1 year of nursing home experience Must have 1 year of RN Supervisor in a nursing home setting
