This is a leadership role that involves managing certified nursing assistants (CNAs), coordinating staffing schedules, and ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations. As the CNA Manager & Nursing Scheduler at the Veterans Home you will: Lead and supervise CNA staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure quality resident care. Develop, implement, and manage staffing schedules for the nursing team ensuring adequate coverage across all shifts while optimizing workforce efficiency. Coordinate with nursing leadership to plan staffing needs based on resident census and acuity levels. Ensure compliance with all applicable long-term care regulations and facility policies. Monitor daily operations to maintain smooth workflow and address staffing or operational issues promptly. Assist in onboarding new CNA staff and provide ongoing training related to regulatory standards and best practices. Maintain accurate documentation related to staffing schedules, employee records, and regulatory compliance As the CNA Manager & Nursing Scheduler you will possess: A valid Wisconsin CNA license or willingness to obtain one Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within long-term care facilities. Extensive CNA or caregiving experience with a thorough understanding of caregiving responsibilities. Strong skills in scheduling and coordinating staff schedules effectively.
