Maintains patient records effectively. 1.10. Efficiently manages and routinely checks the EPIC in-basket. 1.11. Answers and returns calls promptly and provides pertinent information. 2. Performs administrative responsibilities as assigned. 2.1. Sends/receives patient medical records and abstracts new patient records into EPIC. 2.2. This unit is defined not only by its specialized patient population, but also by the advanced level of nursing assessment and monitoring required. Patients admitted to McGivney 5 require frequent, high-acuity observation, complex clinical management, and rapid intervention.
