What You Will Do Responsible for the evaluation and provision of care to patients through coordination with the multi-disciplinary team. Provide appropriate clinical information and education to patients, family, and care providers. Receives organ offers, coordinates deceased donor transplants and triages after hour patient calls to appropriately refer issues to on-call physicians and provides any necessary follow-up instructions to patients. Professional Development and Practice Responsible for the organization, management, and provision of care to patients during clinic visits to include performing skills including blood specimen collection peripherally and through central line or port, removal of central lines, starting IV's, assisting with bedside procedures with physician, insertion and removal of urinary catheters, and removal of staples and drains.
