Position Description: Certified Surgical Technologist The Surgical Technologist is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. Western Indiana Regions : Lafayette, Rensselaer & Crawfordsville WHAT WE NEED A team-oriented CST who is flexible, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care across assigned regional locations Minimum of 1 year of recent experience Recent experience using EPIC preferred WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Competitive pay A flexible schedule designed to support your work/life balance Supportive onboarding and monthly education to ensure success in your assignments Arrange instrument trays, prepare sterile drapes and solutions, and help the surgical team put on caps, gowns, and gloves. Assist with prep of patients as needed. Pass instruments to surgeons and surgical assistants. May assist with sponge, needle, and other supply counts to track materials used in surgery. May operate suction, diagnostic, and sterilizing equipment, and package specimens to take for laboratory analysis.
