POSITION SUMMARY As a Medical Assistant at Pur Skin Clinic, you will play an integral role in delivering an elevated patient experience across our premier medical spa locations in Seattle, Kirkland, and Edmonds. Blending clinical excellence with compassionate patient care, you will support our providers throughout the aesthetic journey- from consultation preparation and treatment assistance to patient education and follow-up care. In this role, you will assist with advanced aesthetic treatments including injectables, laser procedures, microneedling, chemical peels, and other cosmetic services while helping create a welcoming, polished, and supportive environment for every patient who walks through our doors. Your ability to anticipate provider and patient needs, communicate effectively, and maintain exceptional attention to detail will directly contribute to the success of the patient experience and the clinic as a whole. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare patients for aesthetic consultations and cosmetic treatments Obtain and document medical history, medications, allergies, consent forms, and treatment notes in EMR systems Assist providers with cosmetic procedures including injectables, laser treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, facials, and other aesthetic services Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures Perform topical numbing application as directed by providers Take standardized patient photos and ensure accurate procedural documentation Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions and aftercare expectations Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA standards throughout the clinic Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stocking of skincare products and medical supplies Professionally respond to patient calls, electronic correspondence, and scheduling inquiries Support front office operations including scheduling appointments, patient check-in/check-out, and administrative tasks as needed Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a warm, professional, and welcoming patient experience Collaborate positively across all departments and contribute to overall team success Remain flexible and assist with additional responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Current Certified Medical Assistant certification required (CMA, AAMA, RMA, or CCMA) Previous experience in aesthetics, cosmetics, plastic surgery, dermatology, or medical spa environments preferred Experience assisting with Botox, fillers, laser treatments, microneedling, or chemical peels preferred Experience charting in-room for providers preferred Knowledge of skincare products and aesthetic treatments is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail required Passion for aesthetics, skincare, and patient care Social media or content creation experience is a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: To ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, we have established the following physical requirements.
