We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and compassionate Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse -APRN to join our clinical team at a substance abuse and mental health treatment facility in Lantana, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring availability five days per week. Must have experience in psychiatric care, substance use disorder treatment, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, completing History and Physical (H&P) examinations, documenting daily detox progress notes, managing psychiatric medications, and monitoring patients throughout the treatment process. The APRN will work closely with nursing staff, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, individualized, and evidence-based care. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations, initial assessments, and follow-up visits. Complete History and Physical (H&P) examinations and documentation for admissions, within the provider’s licensure, scope of practice, and facility protocols. Complete daily detox progress notes and clinical assessments for patients undergoing detoxification, including monitoring withdrawal symptoms and documenting patient status and treatment response. Diagnose and treat mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use disorders within the scope of licensure. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with applicable laws, clinical guidelines, and prescriptive authority. Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, withdrawal symptoms, and patient progress. Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, medical providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation, including H&P examinations, detox notes, psychiatric evaluations, medication orders, and progress notes. Participate in treatment planning, clinical case reviews, and coordination of care. Provide appropriate medical and psychiatric support for clients receiving detoxification and residential/php treatment services. Recognize changes in patient condition and coordinate appropriate interventions, and escalation of care Ensure compliance with applicable Florida regulations, professional standards, facility policies, and patient confidentiality requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: · Promote the mission, values and vision of organization. · Provide excellent customer service for patients, practices confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance HIPAA requirements. · Lead the nursing staff in delivering excellent care to patients and offering quality support to the medical staff. · Ensure that each nurse on staff is properly certified and abides by the standards for care established by the organization and state and federal laws. · Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPN etc.) Including but not limited to: Hiring, Scheduling, Staff Development, and Termination. · Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department · Guide staffing procedures · Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures within department · Create new policies and update existing policies to help improve the level of care for each patient; enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards. · Resolve issues and deficiencies, as needed. · Manage record-keeping procedures. · Collaborate with leadership team to streamline operations. · Implement quality improvement programs designed to help us deliver the highest possible levels of service. Ensuring compliance with monthly QA/QI reports for Infection Control, Med Errors, Incident Reporting, Grievances, and other reports, as needed. · Collaborate with pharmacy consultant to ensure facility compliance with medication handling and destruction, as in accordance with DEA regulations. · Assist Operations and Clinical Director with audits for licensing and accrediting bodies. · Implement systems to ordering of necessary medications, PPE and other equipment needed within nursing department to treat clientele. · Audit charts for compliance with documentation timelines based off UR, DCF, Joint Commission and AHCA requirements. · Attend leadership meetings. · Ensure that all patient care plans have the documentation necessary to provide the proper type of care. Administer medication orally, subcutaneously. · Performs other duties as may be required. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing or related field is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Current RN license – Florida. Minimum of two (2) years nursing, supervisory experience. Strong understanding of local, state and federal laws and guidelines. Experience working in a medical/sub-acute, detox environment; strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Joint Commission and AHCA standards; preferred. Relevant computer software and hardware applications proficiency – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Electronic Medical Records,; Sunwave preferred. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. CPR/1st Aid/Aggression Control/Blood borne Pathogens. SKILLS: · Able to respond calmly during an emergency. · Energy and flexibility necessary to meet the changing needs of patients, staff, and business needs. · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and set priorities. Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information, high level of confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.

Licensed Nurse Full-Time

Archstone Behavioral Health is a treatment center that provides caring treatment to those suffering from Mental Health and Substance Misuse disorders seeking help. Summary: The nursing staff is responsible for the day-to-day nursing services provided to all patients admitted to the facility. This includes intake, assessment, vital signs, medication management, and general health care education. Requirements: Nursing degree from an accredited school. Must have a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience as a nurse in a behavioral & substance abuse, or mental health setting. Valid RN/LPN license CPR certification - must have at the time of hire Responsibilities: Complete nursing intake and assessment. Monitor patient’s vital signs as ordered or per protocol. Maintain medication cart in order and locked at all times Dispense medications as ordered. Monitor and document all medication activity. Keep medication administration record (MAR) up to date. Complete incident report for any unusual or adverse event including medication errors and medication reactions. Other duties as required to address operational needs.
