Group Fitness Instructor - PRN

Position will teach group fitness classes to fitness members and guests. Shift varies, with potential for daylight, evening or weekend hours as needed. Requirements Must have knowledge and experience teaching group fitness classes, the ability to communicate with special populations and instruct members through a full scope of safe, effective exercises. Certification required from a national organization. AFAA, ACE, AEA or a specialty field such as cycling, yoga, pilates, tai chi, chi kung or les mills certification. CPR required or obtained in orientation period. Have a working knowledge of all fitness equipment used in group programming. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. 1-year experience in teaching group fitness classes, prefer 3 years’ experience. Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, and/or holidays.

CMA Scholars Program (Current Team Members Only)

The Non-Certified Medical Assistant performs a combination of clinical and administrative duties under the supervision of a licensed provider. This role is intended as an interim position for team members who are actively pursuing a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure within a defined timeframe. The Non-Certified Medical Assistant supports clinic operations by assisting providers with patient care and performing delegated clinical tasks, while also contributing to the efficient day-to-day functioning of the practice. Responsibilities include working collaboratively as part of the care team, supporting patient flow, and assisting with both clinical and administrative processes. While performing these duties, the role requires ability to access the operational components of the practice, including clinical work areas, medical records, supplies, and secured medication storage, as necessary to support daily operations and patient care activities. Essential Job Duties: Completes clinical intake Assists with routine office duties to include ordering medical supplies, maintaining appropriate inventory, scheduling patients, answering telephones, etc. Takes and records patient vital signs, height, weight, and medical history Prepares examination rooms and assists with patient exams and minor procedures Performs phlebotomy with documented competency; collects and labels specimens (blood, urine, swabs) for lab testing Administers medications and injections as ordered and delegated by the provider, with documented competency Performs EKGs and other basic diagnostic tests Educates patients on medication instructions, post-procedure care, etc. per physician guidance Maintains infection control and patient safety standards Schedules and confirms patient appointments and follow-ups Manages electronic medical records (EMR): documents patient interactions and test results Coordinates referrals, prior authorizations, and lab requests Processes billing information and assists with insurance coding under provider guidance Answers phones, responds to patient inquiries, and relays provider instructions Demonstrates respect for patient confidentiality and professional ethics Documents all patient care provided. Maintains patient safety. Participates in educational and training programs to meet Augusta Health requirements. Participates in staff meetings. Provides assistance to providers as needed in examinations and special procedures. Provides direct, routine clinical care to patients according to provider’s instructions. Arranges for follow-up care and appointments for patients and maintains communication with patients/families in other facilities. Coordinates and tracks wellness initiatives for patients (labs, immunizations, colonoscopies, mammograms) Arranges patient referrals to specialty clinics. Performs waived testing according to the Augusta Health Policy and Procedure. Performs general office housekeeping duties may be required to keep the office presentable for daily operations. The RN Care Coordinator provides advanced care coordination in the ambulatory setting, using independent nursing judgment for triage, clinical decision‑making, and management of patient needs.
