Responsibilities This position delivers direct resident care and provides superior healthcare to our residents in a manner which promotes independence, preserves dignity, & strives to improve their quality of life. Assist with the maintenance of resident's nutritional and personal hygiene needs Observe and report significant changes in a resident's condition Understand the psychological needs of the resident. Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient areas, ensuring compliance with infection control standards. Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents. Record Activities of Daily living Assist with Nursing and other Staff as needed Follow all professional, facility, and legal standards while maintaining resident and facility confidentiality. Responsible for promoting a safe work environment through proactive injury prevention practices and compliance with all safety standards. Requirements Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification PCC experience is preferred Candidates must be eligible to work and able to verify employment authorization. Applicants are expected to meet the basic qualifications and job requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for direction of resident care in the skilled nursing setting. Manages licensed and non-licensed clinical staff. Consults with staff, physicians, and management team on nursing problems and interpretation of facility policies to ensure resident needs are met. Maintains policies and procedures specific to infection control and performance improvement activities for Nursing Services and participates in QAPI activities. Required to have or obtain Infection Control Certification. Minimum of 1-2 years management experience in a long term care facility.
