Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide medical and rehabilitation services to our short-term and long-term care residents. Infection Preventionist, RN

Infection Preventionist Job Summary: Countryside Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center, a compassionate and dedicated provider of post-acute care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infection Preventionist to join our team in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee . As a valued member of our healthcare family, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety in our facilities. About the Role: As our new Infection Preventionist , you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, coordinating, and directing our infection control program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This is a dynamic and versatile role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will be the primary point of contact for infection control matters and will work closely with the Administrator, Infection Control Committee, and other stakeholders to maintain an effective infection control program at all times. Responsibilities: • Plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and direct the infection control program in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations • Conduct surveillance and monitoring activities to identify trends and patterns of infections and develop strategies to prevent and control infections • Develop, implement, and maintain infection control policies, procedures, and protocols • Provide educational programs and training to staff on infection control and prevention practices • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of infection control activities • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address infection-related issues • Maintain accurate and detailed records of infection control activities, including reporting and investigating incidents • Provide guidance and support to staff on infection control practices and procedures • Collaborate with the Infection Control Committee to develop and implement infection control policies and procedures Requirements: • Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the state of Tennessee • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information • Willingness to be on call rotation What We Offer: A chance to make a difference in the lives of our residents and their families How to Apply: If you are a motivated and compassionate professional seeking a challenging and rewarding role in infection prevention, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
