Job Details Description Position Summary: Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct primary nursing care to patients with cardiovascular/pulmonary/vascular health deficits, in whom outcomes may be unpredictable to perform comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention and/or evaluation of complex multisystem health care deficits; to direct the nursing care of unstable patients or patients requiring complex care management. Handles multiple demands and tasks simultaneously, demonstrating clinical problem solving skills. Is supported by the Director of Medical/Surgical Nursing, Clinical Team Leader and charge nurse in assuming unit leadership roles including, but not limited to, serving as the Charge Nurse, committee leadership and/or involvement, conducting unit orientation and education; directs and guides the use of resources for patient care. Experience Required: Minimum one year experience in cardiopulmonary nursing to work on telemetry units; two years’ experience in critical care nursing to work in critical care units. Preferred: Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation, IV Therapy Certification, Hemodynamics, and Mock Code Work Shop within 90 days of hire or promotion -or- at the first available course offering. Education Required: Graduate of accredited diploma, associate degree or baccalaureate degree nursing program. Non-BSN’s must complete a BSN degree within 5 years’ of hire. Advance Practice Provider, Advance Practice Nurse or Physicians Assistant will be considered. Position Summary: Cardiology Concentration. In Collaboration with the Attending Physicians, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients in the outpatient practice setting. Required License / Credentials: Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse through a specialty association OR NJ Physician Assistant license. Current CDS and DEA licenses required. Current CDS and DEA required within 6-months of employment. Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per Center procedure. Job Details Description Position Summary: Responsible for preoperative assessment of patient status and ordering of preoperative medication under supervision with administration of drugs to produce sedation or anesthesia, insert arterial, venous catheters, and monitors the patient during anesthesia until the patient regains consciousness. The CRNA is frequently involved with the Code 88 team for resuscitation. •Experience: 0 to 3 months. Preferred previous cardiac anesthesia experience. •Education/Required License / Credentials: Current requirements to CRNA graduates. Current NJ-RN license and AANA Council eligible/certified. Minimum requirement of current ACLS. Maintains CEU status according to AANA Council on Re-Certification. Confirmation of credentials must be communicated to hospital Credentials Committee.
