Job Summary The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective, nursing care to the acute psychiatric patient using the nursing process, accepted standards of psychiatric mental health nursing and the policies and procedures of Emanate Health using individual, group and milieu modalities for the acute population of adults and geriatric patients. Care is provided through a team nursing care delivery system in which the staff nurse may function as lead nurse, medication nurse, intake nurse or assigned RN.
