Accountable for completion of CNA documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADLs. Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach. Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN): • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans. • Assess residents’ physical, psychosocial, and functional status and document appropriately. • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report to physician and nursing leadership. • Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs on assigned unit or shift. • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. • Participate in care planning, shift reports, and interdisciplinary meetings. • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed. • Accurately complete medical records, MARs, TARs, and incident reports. • Educate residents and families regarding care, treatments, and health conditions. • Adhere to attendance, scheduling, and block schedule commitments as assigned. Encore at Wilmington is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Supervisor to provide overnight clinical leadership and ensure high-quality resident care. This role supports the Director of Nursing (DON) and oversees nursing staff, regulatory compliance, and resident safety during the overnight shift. The RN Supervisor is accountable for maintaining standards of care, guiding the team, and ensuring smooth overnight operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff during overnight shift Conduct rounds and monitor changes in resident condition Ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and physician order follow-through Review and complete incident and medication error reports Perform chart audits and compliance checks Maintain infection control and regulatory standards Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and leadership Participate in on-call rotation as required Support Quality Assurance and performance improvement initiatives Qualifications Active Delaware RN License or Compact (Multi-State) RN License required Minimum 2 years RN experience (long-term care preferred) Prior supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of SNF regulations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Why Join Encore at Wilmington?
