Registered Nurse (RN)

REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – FULL TIME Job Summary The RN coordinates and supervises nursing care on the assigned unit, ensuring appropriate staffing, timely medication administration, and high-quality resident care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current Illinois RN license Working knowledge of general nursing practices Supervisory experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with staff Proficient in spoken and written English Requirements Physically and mentally able to perform nursing duties Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Compassionate, professional, and resident-focused Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, and HFS regulations Key Responsibilities Assign and supervise nursing staff based on unit needs Administer medications, injections, and treatments per physician orders Conduct daily rounds and ensure Care Plan compliance Communicate with physicians and families regarding resident status Maintain accurate documentation and narcotic accountability in the EMR Ensure infection control, safety standards, and policy compliance Complete incident reports and coordinate resident transfers as needed Job Type: Full-Time
