Healthcare organization is looking for a Director of Nursing to lead the skilled nursing practices. This is a great opportunity for Assistant Director of Nursing who would like to advance their careers. Responsibilities: Role model for the company’s Vision Statement and collaborates with the Administrator to ensure implementation and compliance. Drives ongoing QAA process, oversees milestone plans for performance improvement, and monitors clinical trends and outcomes. Uses TSI reports, CMS reports, current survey status and clinical outcomes to monitor clinical progress monthly. Communicates care delivery trends, issues and opportunities to administration, medical director, and the Quality Assurance Committee. Anticipates customers’ needs and works to minimize potential problems. Qualifications: Currently licensed as RN in this state; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required. Must have, as a minimum of 6 months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
