Kendal at Oberlin's Nursing Department is currently seeking dynamic, compassionate Care Partners (STNA/CNAs ) for full time nights: 7pm-7:30am. The Care Partner provides our residents high quality, person-centered care by providing physical and psycho-social support as a member of the interdisciplinary team working closely with residents, families and staff. The Care Partner assists in providing an engaging therapeutic living environment for those individuals with cognitive impairment. Additionally, the role will be responsible for including, but not limited to: Recognizing and respecting residents' abilities and promote their individuality while maintaining the standards of The Kendal Corporation's philosophy of care. Supporting residents in doing as much for themselves as possible. Providing confident, efficient and complete care as outlined in individual care plans of each resident. Providing support with a friendly and caring approach to residents, friends, families, and staff. Qualifications and Experience: Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant program and state of Ohio exam. Must have an STNA license in good standing. Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, lift, transfer residents weighing 50 to 250 pounds. Must be capable of clearly communicating with residents. Kendal at Oberlin's Nursing Department is currently seeking RN's for PRN: 7p-7:30a positions in our Stephens Care Center. The Registered Nurse will act as Nurse Manager having the responsibility of providing leadership in the absence of administration, addressing employee injuries and community resident emergencies during the closed hours of the Health and Wellness Clinic. Additionally, the RN will be responsible for including but not limited to: Demonstrating practical knowledge of all equipment used in the center. Keeping staff informed of changes in health services, new nursing techniques and licensing regulations. Coordinating and supervising LPN's, Care Partners and Administrative Assistants Reviewing, implementing and evaluating the residents plan of care. Assuring appropriate care for all residents upon admission/discharge, in-house transferring and emergency situations. Reviewing all labs and reports, following protocols for reporting abnormal results. Qualifications and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must hold current Ohio license in good standing. Must have SNF experience. Minimum of one (1) year experience as a professional nurse. Must display good attention to detail and have the ability to train, critique, evaluate and direct staff in their performance.
