Location:Lee Health - Plantation RoadFort Myers FL 33901 Department: Lee Wound Care Clinic Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/9:00:00AM to 5:30:00PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.34 - $29.04 / hour Summary Lee Physician Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced LPN to join their Outpatient Wound Care Clinic in Fort Myers. The LPN will provide hands-on patient care in a fast-paced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine practice, MondayFriday, 9:00 a.m.5:30 p.m. This high-volume surgical wound care office cares for more than 120 patients each day. The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy clinical environment, provide compassionate and efficient patient care, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. Performs and documents selected tasks such as the administration of treatments and medications in delivery of patient care under the guidance and discretion of the registered nurse. Assist the Register Nurse in collecting health data according to established policies. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patients age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Requirements Education: Graduate of a state approved vocational/practical nursing program required. Experience: None required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment. Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. 30-hour IV Course may be required based on specialty. Behavioral Health or Addiction Medicine experience is preferred, but not required. We value strong communication skills, teamwork, accountability, and a willingness to learn. Position Highlights: Behavioral Health or Addiction Medicine experience is preferred but not required. Experience administering injections is highly desirable, as the department frequently administers long-acting injectable medications. Experience with urine drug screening (UDS) and related clinical processes is preferred.
