LPN Pediatric Allergy PT - Naples

Location: Golisano Children's Health Center - 3361 Pine Ridge Road Suite 201 Naples FL 34109 Department: LPG Allergy Work Type: Part Time Shift: Shift 1/7:30:00AM to 5:00:00PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $22.34 - $29.04 / hour Summary Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced LPN to join their Pediatric Allergy office located in Naples, FL. This is a part time position working Tuesday and Thursdays. This LPN will train for approximately one month on a full time basis in Fort Myers. What will the LPN do? Rooming patients Skin prick testing intradermal testing spirometry testing nebulizer treatments school forms in basket/phone triage The ideal LPN will have 1 year of clinical experience. Responsible for providing an excellent customer experience while ensuring patient care is delivered safely, effectively and efficiently. This position is responsible for the collection of patient health data and the safe delivery and documentation of selected acts such as administration of treatments and medications. Responsible for collecting data either directly or telephonically in a systematic and ongoing manner, which is based on patient response to treatments, medications and changes in condition. Responsible for the implementation of patient care and patient education, which follows providers orders or falls under the guidance and discretion of a registered nurse, while incorporating knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity. This position ensures that the care delivered is safe and meets the requirements of the Florida Nurse Practice Act, licensure, regulatory agencies and Lee Health policies and procedures. Responsible for professional communication, patient education and collaboration with other health care team members to ensure the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Requirements Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program required. Experience: Physician Practice/Outpatient experience preferred. Certification: BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required. 30-hr IV course may be required based on specialty. License: Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Florida. Other: Above average written and verbal communication skills. Adaptable and participative with technological changes. Clerical duties include phone reception, operation of office equipment such as fax machines, copy machines, and printers, in additional to basic computer skills in the Blood Bank computer system.
