Assist physicians in managing cardiac patients, including direct care within the cardiac cath/interventional lab and during cardiac or non-cardiac procedures. We are looking for a Inpatient Rounding RN to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health! What You'll Do: Uses the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver patient care. Facilitates multidisciplinary rounds on select patients under the care of the Hospitalist team. The Inpatient Rounding Nurse serves as the central hub of clinical coordination for comprehensive multidisciplinary bedside rounds in tandem with the Hospitalist and PharmD. Planning and facilitation includes: preparation for daily bedside rounds, review of patient history and condition, review of pertinent social factors, collaboration with primary nursing staff and ancillary disciplines, providing of timely status updates and pertinent information to providers and consultants as delegated, coordinating involvement of patient care partners and/or families, assisting with communication of discharge goals and plans of care, reinforcing patient education, and aligning prioritization for rounding efficiencies and discharge expedition.
