CHARGE NURSE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OVERALL LEADERSHIP OF THEIR ASSIGNED STAFF AND RESIDENT CARE. DOCUMENTATION, CONTACTING PHYSICIANS FOR RESIDENT CARE AND MANAGEMENT, ROUTINE ROUNDS TO ASSURE QUALITY CARE BEING PROVIDED,TALKING WITH RESIDENTS,RESIDENTS FAMILY , REPORTING TO WEEKEND SUPERVISOR AND DIRECTOR OF NURSES WHEN NEEDED , MUST BE CURRENTLY LIC. AS LVN OR RN
Must be certified nurse aide with a valid drivers license. This job is primarily from 8 - 5 Monday - Friday, however there are times when you must be able to participate in after 5 p.m. hospital admits or re-admits. There is also an occasional weekend admission that requires the transportation person to assist with. The van driver does assist with resident care on days/times when there are no appointments/transports scheduled.
