Benefits and Perks $17.50 - $20 per hour depending on level of care Flexible part-time scheduling Day, evening, and weekend shifts Weekly pay Paid training and development Employee referral opportunities Mileage reimbursement and paid travel time between eligible client assignments, when applicable Convenient mobile clock-in and clock-out Support from our local office and leadership team Opportunities to learn and grow Meaningful one-on-one relationships with clients The opportunity to make a difference in your community every day What You’ll Do Responsibilities vary according to each client’s individualized care plan and may include: Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs Assisting with mobility, transfers, and walking Preparing meals and snacks Providing medication reminders Performing light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, changing bed linens, vacuuming, sweeping, and tidying Accompanying clients on errands and appointments Assisting with grocery shopping and other daily activities Providing dementia and cognitive support Engaging clients through conversation, reading, music, games, and puzzles Providing respite and support for family caregivers Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition or needs Helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and positive home environment What We’re Looking For Our ideal caregiver is compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to treating every client with dignity and respect. Qualifications Previous professional or personal caregiving experience is preferred Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Right at Home team Ability to follow an individualized care plan Ability to successfully complete required background screening Reliable transportation Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance when driving is required for an assignment Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of assigned caregiving duties CNA, Home Health Aide, or another caregiving certification is welcomed but not required for all positions A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others A Career with Purpose At Right at Home Chico, caregiving is about more than completing a list of tasks.
